But Porzingis could be a serious liability in the playoffs

Think he is a liability defensively against a tough, physical team

I do think Boston can cover up for a lot of it though by being so damn good at point of attack on defense

I do like their backcourt in general more

But they need to make sure Jaylen Brown doesn't try to do too much

You're right about Jalen Brown. He needs to play hero ball all too often with games on the line. This team needs ball distribution, not hero ball. Ad he's not very good at it, turning the ball over way too many times in such situations.

As for Porzingas we disagree there. Porzingas is a huge offensive asset, the kind of asset that Tatum and Brown have never had. And defensively he is a shot blocker. The effects of a shot blocker often don't register on stat sheets. But they alter offenses by their presence. That's defense.

Celtics have had good shot blocking threats for a while

Robert Williams was actually much better in that sense

The game is different in the playoffs . Porzingis is going to have to be willing to be physical in spots and not sure he’s up for it

They should be faves but both can definitely lose

Boston has an easier conference but they can’t afford to look past Miami again .
